Education
Our energy education programmes deliver an exciting and stimulating combination of leading online, in-class and outdoor activities to children and young people across the UK.
The E.ON Energy Experience is a major new programme to help young people explore the theme of energy. The programme has the ambition of helping to create an energy literate generation, giving them the information they need to make informed choices.
Designed to support the geography and science curricula for young people aged 5-16 in England, Scotland and Wales, the E.ON Energy Experience doesn't tell young people about energy, it allows them to experience it.
E.ON also runs plugin2engineering which gives young people aged 11-16 the chance to find out what it is really like to work in the energy industry. It puts the student in real life situations that engineers face within the energy industry.
The Power Discovery Zone, developed by Central Networks, teaches children about the science of electricity as well as how to stay safe.
For schools which install a sustainable energy solution, such as a wind turbine or a ground source heat pump, Sustainable Energy Educate will bring it to life for pupils.
Our interactive education pack for primary and secondary schools, focuses on climate change as a whole to pupils. It explains in a fun detailed way seven different sustainable technologies, and is exclusive to Sustainable Energy Solutions customers.
