Employee Involvement

Employee involvement

Employee Involvement is a rewarding experience - not only for employees but also for the communities we work with.

Drawing on existing skills and interests, whilst also developing new ones, we are able to make a real difference.

E.ON UK works with organisations all over the country to find and support volunteering opportunities for our employees. Tasks range from spending a team day working on a local project, to building a long-term relationship with local school children. The choice is up to each individual and will depend on how much time they have to give and the skills they want to develop.

In addition to volunteering, we also support fundraising. That means over 400 charities and community groups benefit every year from the support our employees give through E.ON’s matched funding and matched time schemes.

In 2007, we expect over 3,250 employees will take part in volunteering - directly benefiting the communities where we live and work. E.ON aims to be recognised as one of the best companies in the UK for employee involvement activity.
