Working with a personal mentor, you'll put together an individual development plan to guide your progress. You'll also have the chance to attend workshops on everything from Understanding Energy Markets to Intercultural Communication. It's all down to the scheme you're on and the skills you have.



Going global
Our programmes have a strong international focus. And on nearly all of them, you'll spend at least one of your placements abroad. That way, you'll gain a real understanding of how your work affects us worldwide. You'll feel like you're part of our growing global community.

Our Academies
Depending on which scheme you're on, you'll have access to either our Engineering or Professional Academy. These are online databases of the different training and e-learning opportunities we offer. They can help you become more assertive, beef up your presentation skills, and even provide you with networking opportunities. In short, they can help you to develop the career you always dreamt of.

Professional qualifications
Let's not forget qualifications either. We're recognised by all kinds of professional bodies, both in engineering and other fields. With their support, we're able to give you the time and funding to get the qualifications you need-and take your career even further. If you're an engineer, you'll also join our Professional Engineering Development scheme as you work towards chartered status.
