If we're going to change the future of energy, we need to have the financial resources to do so. The people you'll work with on our Finance Scheme do just that. You'll see first-hand how finance touches every part of our business, and how it's essential to every strategic decision we make. You'll also be given the time, funding and support you need to gain the recognised accountancy qualification - CIMA.
What you'll do
You'll do a series of placements, both across the UK and internationally. These will give you an understanding of all areas of finance, from transactional ledger accounting, to planning for major capital investments - even reporting to the Board on financial performance.
What you'll need to bring
Well, you'll be great with numbers - no surprise there. But we look for a little more, too. Yes, you'll need at least a 2:1 (or equivalent) degree in any subject, but we're also looking for commercially minded graduates with a passion for finance and the energy industry. Add to that excellent analytical and communication skills, an inquisitive mind and a talent for adapting to any situation and you'll be well on your way to future success.
