At Central Networks, we believe it is vital to support our communities and are committed to working together with local organisations and councils.

Putting safety first, we educate young people about staying safe around electricity with Power Discovery Zone. We also have two Central Networks Power Discovery Trucks which visit primary schools and local events.

We also run an educational scheme called plugin2engineering. Working with partner schools across central England, this programme shows 11-16 year olds what it is really like to work in the energy industry and demonstrates how what is taught in the classroom is applied in the real world.

We recognise that our enthusiasm for supporting our community extends to our colleagues. The E.ON UK employee involvement programme enables our people to make a positive impact in their community through participation in local community projects.
