Our commitment

As central England’s electricity distribution company, we attach great importance to our environmental responsibilities.

We have produced a combined Health, Safety and Environment Policy Statement to show our commitment to placing protection of the environment at the heart of everything we do.

We have given each member of our staff their personal copy of this document.

We are committed to keep improving our environmental performance. The whole of our business has successfully achieved ISO14001 certification, underlining this commitment.

Working within this international standard enables us to show how we are controlling the effects from our activities and helps us to deliver further environmental improvements.

We are currently putting in place a number of new initiatives to help us improve further.
