Onshore wind energy is a relatively mature renewable energy industry and is long-established as a viable option for UK power generation. We invested in our first onshore wind farm in 1991, since then we have used our experience and expertise to develop a portfolio that consists of 18 onshore sites.

In 2007 we completed construction of Stag's Holt, in Cambridgeshire and in 2010 we repowered Great Eppleton in County Durham. We also completed construction of two onshore wind farms in County Durham: Butterwick Moor and Haswell Moor and are preparing construction activities for a further two in Scotland: Camster near Wick and Rosehall near Lairg.
