A service alteration is the relocation of a single phase or three phase supply cable (overhead or underground) and the associated meter position. A supply cable feeds a single property, as opposed to a mains cable, which may feed several properties through subsidiary supply cables.

We'll carry out a service alteration at your request to your specific requirements. If a service needs moving or altering for safety reasons, pleae call the Central Networks Emergency Line (the telephone number is available on your electricity bill).

If the existing supply has CT metering it will be classed as mains diversion and an application shoudl be make through our Customer Application Team on 08450 727270.
